Applying neuroscience to golf / by Ashvin Sangoram

Musings from an Applied Neuroscientist

There is a vacuum of systematically-applied neuroscience in the world of golf.

Having worked with the Stanford Men’s Golf team, I gained a number of insights into applying neuroscience to the realm of golf. While elite golfers have trained their bodies to hit incredible shots, I am convinced they could benefit from a cutting-edge approach to train their brain to improve further.

Using the full mix of my professional and personal experience, I have developed the first ever program providing a method to improve four key neural circuits involved in playing the game of golf.

In forthcoming blogs, I want to give you a taste of these four circuits and this novel program with a direct experiential approach.

Feel free to join me - Ash Sangoram MD PhD, neuroscientist, neonatologist and Founder of GoaLoGolf - as I help elite golfers to apply neuroscience and elevate their golf game.
